HC Deb 12 April 1905 vol 144 c1387
MR. JAMES O'CONNOR (Wicklow, W.)

To ask the Postmaster-General whether he is aware that in Cardiff many assistant postmen's duties extend for more than six hours daily; and whether he will take steps to have these times made into full time established duties, especially in view of the periods some of the assistant postmen have been waiting for appointment.

(Answered by Lord Stanley.) The question of increasing the number of full duty established postmen at Cardiff is being considered in connection with a general revision of the postmen's duties which is in hand.
