§ CAPTAIN NORTON (Newington, W.)To ask the Financial Secretary to the War Office if he can state the estimated cost of inspection per rifle at Enfield, as compared with that at the Birmingham Small Arms and London Small Arms Factories respectively.
(Answered by Mr. Bromley Davenport.) It is estimated that the cost of inspection of rifles made at Enfield and by the Birmingham Small Arms and London Small Arms Factories during the past financial year is the same.
