§ THE POSTMASTER-GENERAL (Lord STANLEY, Lancashire,) WesthoughtonThe facts of the case areas follows:—Mr. Howlett was informed by my direction that I cannot permit the scandal caused by distress being levied on premises where Post Office business is conducted, and he was warned that if anything of the kind occurs again the office will be taken out of his hands.
