§ MR. KEIR HARDIE (Merthyr Tydvil)To ask the Lord-Advocate whether he proposes to introduce legislation to repeal Section 68 of the Poor Law (Scotland) Amendment Act, 1845, by which able-bodied persons out of employment are expressly debarred from claiming relief from the Poor Law authorities, and to making the law of Scotland conform to that of England in respect to the relief of the able-bodied unemployed.
