HC Deb 05 April 1905 vol 144 cc443-4
MR. BRIGG (Yorkshire, W.R., Keighley)

To ask the President of the Board of Agriculture can he give an approximate statement of the loss incurred by butchers in 1904 from tuberculosis; and will he favour the introduction of a Bill on the subject this session.

(Answered by Mr. Gerald Balfour.) I am not in possession of the information desired by the hon. Member, and, whilst recognising the importance of the subject to which the Question refers, I am afraid that I could not hold out any promise that the Government would introduce a Bill this session dealing with it.
