ROCHE (Galway, E.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he can state if Mr. Rothwell, petty sessions clerk of Ballinasloe, is to get any portion of the Mahon, Ballydonlon, Estate, purchased by the Estates Commissioners, in view of the fact that he does not live near the estate, and that he has more than one farm elsewhere.
§ MR. WALTER LONGI have already informed the hon. Member that this estate has been purchased by, and vested in, the tenants, of whom Mr. Rothwell is not one.
§ MR. ROCHEThis is the fourth time this Question has appeared on the Paper. Cannot the right hon. Gentleman say if Mr. Rothwell is to have any of this land?
