HC Deb 18 May 1904 vol 135 c179
SIR JOHN LENG (Dundee)

I beg to ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer whether there is any reason against the publication of an Annual Return corresponding to the Alphabetical List of Intestate Estates which accompanies the Crown's Nominee Account, such Return to give an alphabetical list of dividends on Government stocks which have not been claimed during the previous ten years.

THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER (Mr. AUSTEN CHAMBERLAIN, Worcestershire, E.)

I have already given the reasons why the publication of the List of Unclaimed Dividends was discontinued. These reasons do not, I understand, apply with the same force in the case of the Annual List of Intestate Estates.
