HC Deb 16 May 1904 vol 134 cc1389-90
MR. HAYDEN (Roscommon, S.)

On behalf of the hon. Member for North Roscommon. I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the owner of the estate of W. R. Tredinnick (county Roscommon) now in the Land Judge's Court, is negotiating a sale to the Congested Districts Board; whether the Congested Districts Board have entered into or completed any negotiations for purchase; whether, seeing that the estate is now in Court for twenty-three years, he will say if any steps have been taken by the Land Judge to carry out a sale of the property, or if he proposes to take any steps to expedite a sale.

MR. WYNDHAM

Negotiations took place in 1900 between the Congested Districts Board and Captain Tredinnick, but were broken off by the latter. There are no proceedings pending in the Land Judge's Court in respect of the sale of the property.
