§ MR. WEIRI beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether he can state what scientific results have been derived from the vivisection of dogs and other animals during the past year.
§ * MR. AKERS-DOUGLASI think the hon. Member is asking rather too much if he expects me to compress into the form of an answer to a Question the 1383 scientific results of a year's experimental research. I would refer him to the periodical transactions of learned societies, to various essays, and to other scattered publications, both past and future, for no doubt some of last year's results have not yet been published. I cannot give the hon. Member the information he desires.
