PIRIE (Aberdeen, N.)To ask the Secretary for Scotland whether, in the publication of the notices under the Wild Birds Protection Acts, he can arrange to give a short excerpt from the sections of the Acts referred to in the order, so that the notice should be intelligible to the readers without having to refer to the terms of the Act.
(Answered by Mr. A. Graham Murray.) I should be glad if the proposal of the hon. Member were generally adopted, but the matter is one for the county councils' determination, who are the responsible authorities.
