HC Deb 12 May 1904 vol 134 c1152
MR. HENRY HOBHOUSE (Somersetshire, E.)

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will grant a Return, by county and county boroughs, of the number (with totals) of hotels, alehouses, and beerhouses, classified according to annual values corresponding to those in the scale of maximum charges scheduled to the Licensing Bill.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Akers-Douylas.) I am in consultation with the Board of Inland Revenue, who are preparing figures of the nature desired by my right lion, friend. I am anxious to give the fullest information possible, and hope that a Return may be ready for presentation to the House within no long time.
