HC Deb 12 May 1904 vol 134 cc1181-2
MR. KILBRIDE

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the tenants on the Marquess of Drogheda's property in Kildare have agreed to buy their holdings at a certain number of years purchase; and, if so, whether, before the sale is sanctioned by the Estates Commissioners, due inquiry will be made with regard to the evicted tenants on the estate with a view to their reinstatement.

MR. WYNDHAM

No application in respect of this property is before the Estates Commissioners. Any applications made by evicted tenants for reinstatement will be considered.
