MR. DELANY

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that a warrant for the removal of a pauper named Frank Milner, aged sixty-seven years, from the West Derby Union to Mountmellick Union, Queen's County, was issued by the magistrates sitting at the police court, Dale Street, Liverpool, on the 12th of April last; and, if so, whether he will state how long Milner has resided † See (4) Debates, cxxxiii., 387. out of Ireland, and in what capacity he has been employed.

MR. WYNDHAM

The removal warrant referred to was issued on the 25th April. The pauper has not yet been delivered at the Mountmellick Workhouse and the clerk of the union is unable, therefore, to give the information desired in the second part of the Question.
