§ MR. J. P. FARRELL
I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that at the April Quarter Sessions of Longford sixty-one processes for rent were heard at the suit of the representatives of the late John S. Galbraith, of Clonebogan, county Tyrone; whether any application was made on behalf of the tenants of this estate to the Estate Commissioners to purchase the estate; and, if not, whether, as this is a congested estate within the meaning of the 394 Act of 1903, the Commissioners will make a proposal for its purchase forthwith.
§ MR. WYNDHAM
No application has been made to the Commissioners to purchase this estate, either on behalf of the owner or the tenants.
§ MR. FARRELL
If an application is made by a solicitor on behalf of the tenants, will the Commissioners take any action?
