asked if the right hon. Gentleman could say when the Second Reading of the Finance Bill would be taken.

MR. AUSTEN CHAMBERLAIN

said that the Second Reading would be put down for some day before Whitsuntide.

MR. JOHN REDMOND

said he hoped that the right hon. Gentleman would give sufficient time for the discussion of the Bill at its various stages.
