I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War if he will state the number of actual members of the Yeomanry forces who joined the Imperial Yeomanry for active service during the late war; and also what was the number of Volunteers enrolled in that force during the war.

The numbers of Yeomanry and Volunteers who joined the Imperial Yeomanry for service in South Africa, are, according to the quarterly returns, as follows: Yeomanry, 2,789; Volunteers, 6,209.
