HC Deb 25 March 1904 vol 132 c803

Order for Committee read.

COLONEL SAUNDERSON (Armagh, N.)

I object.

SIR A. ACLAND-HOOD (Somersetshire, Wellington)

said he would appeal to the right hon. and gallant Member to withdraw his objection. It was much to the advantage of public business that the Committee stage of the Appropriation Bill should be got through.

MR. ASQUITH (Fifeshire, E.)

asked if the Third Reading of the Consolidated Fund Bill would be taken as first order on Monday.

SIR A. ACLAND-HOOD

said that the Scottish Education Bill would be first order on Monday; the Consolidated Fund Bill being second.
