HC Deb 23 March 1904 vol 132 c487
MR. WILLIAM ABRAHAM (Cork County, N.E.)

To ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether he will explain why the Excise authorities have refused to issue a licence to Mr. John Boland, Main Street, Mallow, for the sale of beer and spirits, as his application for a new licence was granted by the Recorder of Cork, at the sessions held in Kanturk last February.

(Answered by Mr. Victor Cavendish.) It is understood that steps are being taken to quash the Quarter Sessions certificate on the ground that it was granted contrary to the provisions of the Law.
