§ CAPTAIN NORTON (Newington, W.)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he can state the date upon which the extension of the rent-aid allowance to all the married constables and sergeants of the Metropolitan Police Force will come into operation.
§ MR. AKERS-DOUGLASIt is proposed to put the new scheme of rent aid for the Metropolitan Police into force from the 4th April.
