§ THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF TRADE (Mr. GERALD BALFOUR,) Leeds, CentralThe quantity of steam coal exported to Russia during 1903 was 2,045,480 tons, and to Japan 118,921 tons. During the month of January, 1904, 30,848 tons were exported to Russia, and 21,532 tons to Japan, and during February, 1904, 14,032 tons to Russia, and 39,027 tons to Japan.
