§ MR. SWIFT MACNEILLI beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he will confer with the Lords of the Admiralty as to the best means of widening and deepening the waterway of St. George's Channel, Bermuda, in the interest of the commerce of that island.
§ *MR. LYTTELTONTenders are being invited by the Colonial Government for deepening, widening, and improving the channel leading into St. George's harbour. The views of naval officers on the station have been obtained as to the best means of carrying out the work, which is not, however, one in which the Admiralty are directly interested.
