Member for North Huntingdonshire, as representing the Board of Agriculture, whether he is aware that 1256 the fishing industry is hampered by the rates charged for the carriage of fish; and will he consider the expediency of addressing a circular letter to the various railway companies with a view to secure a reduction in their charges.
§ MR. AILWYN FELLOWES (Huntingdonshire, Ramsey)Our concern with matters affecting the industry of fishing is limited to England and Wales, but some evidence has been laid before the President affecting the through rates for fish from Scotland which is receiving the attention of my noble friend.
