The CHAIRMAN OF WAYS AND MEANSinformed the House that the Committee on Group E of Private Bills not being appointed to meet until To-morrow, the parties promoting the Corporation of London (Southwark and other Bridges) Bill, which was set down for consideration upon the first day of the meeting of the Committee, had appeared before him and proved that the evidence of Donald Waters, Superintendent in the L Division 949 of the Metropolitan Police, was essential to their case, and that his attendance could not be procured without the intervention of the House.
§ Ordered, That Donald Waters do attend the Committee on Group E of Private Bills to-morrow, at Twelve of the clock.
