CORBETT (Glasgow, Tradeston)To ask the secretary of state for the Home Department what number of punlic-house licences have this year been refused renewal on the ground that they were not required; and what number were refused renewal on that and other grounds; and if he can state what proportion such number bear to the number refused last year, and also to 724 the average number of refusals during the five years prior to that year.
