Mr. SPEAKER laid upon the Table Report from one of the Examiners of Petitions for Private Bills, That, in the case of the following Bill, referred on the First Reading thereof, Standing Order 62 has been complied with, viz.:—London United Tramways Bill. Ordered, That the Bill be read a second time.

Whitby Gas Bill. Read the third time, and passed.

Great Northern and City Railway (Extension of Time) Bill (by Order). Considered; to be read the third time.

Barnet District Gas and Water Bill (by Order). Second Reading deferred till Wednesday next (Evening Sitting).

Middlesbrough, Stockton-on-Tees, and Thornaby Tramways Bill. "For conferring further powers on the Imperial Tramways Company, Limited; for constructing tramways, and widening and altering roads, and acquiring lands in the North Riding of the county of York; and for other purposes," presented, and read the first time; and referred to the Examiners of Petitions for Private Bills.

Sheffield, Laughton, and Maltby Railway Bill. Order [9th February] that the Bill be committed, read, and discharged. Bill withdrawn.—(Mr. Caldwell,)
