HC Deb 10 March 1904 vol 131 c763
MR. FLAVIN

I beg to ask the Postmaster-General whether he will make local inquiries as to the necessity of a Sunday delivery of letters at Asdee, North Kerry, in view of the inconvenience caused in the district by the fact that all letters addressed at Asdee have to lie at the adjoining post office at Bally-longford from Saturday morning until the following Monday owing to the want of a Sunday connection between Bally-longford and Asdee; and whether he will favourably consider the request of the people of the Asdee district for a Sunday mail service.

LORD STANLEY

I have directed inquiries to be made on the subject of affording a Sunday delivery of letters at Asdee, North Kerry, and will communicate the result to the lion. Member.
