To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he will state how many vacancies have occurred on the First of First Teachers' Pension establishment; and the number who have been promoted to it since the new pension rules came into force in 1897.

(Answered by Mr. Wyndham.) The number of vacancies in the pension establishment of the First of First Class which occurred since 1st January, 1898, when the new pension rules came into force, is ninety-four, and the number of promotions is the same.
