I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether any allowance will be made to the Longford Board of Guardians in respect of the maintenance of Gunner Murphy, who was wounded by an accident at the last Donegal Militia training, and has been an inmate of Longford Union since October, 1903.


No, Sir. Gratuity for injuries granted under paragraph 592 of the Militia Regulations is not issued concurrently with maintenance at the public expense.
