HC Deb 08 March 1904 vol 131 c447
MR. O'MALLEY (Galway, Connemara)

To ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether he will consider the advisability of adopting for Great Britain a measure similar to the Ordinance lately promulgated for the Orange River Colony, which prohibits a firm, co-partnership, or company, carrying on the business of a pharmaceutical chemist in the dispensing of medicines or the compounding of poisons unless the directors are qualified persons.

(Answered by Mr. A. J. Balfour.) The subject is under consideration in connection with a Bill for the amendment of the Pharmacy Act which is in preparation.
