§ MR. T. W. RUSSELLI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland what explanation, if any, the solicitor having carriage of the sale of the Gault Estate, Trillick, county Tyrone, has made before the Land Judge in reference to the delay of ten years in the sale of the estate; and if any arrangement has been made to expedite the transfer of the land.
§ MR. WYNDHAMThe solicitors having carriage of the proceedings appeared before the Court on the 25th February. They satisfied the Land Judge that they were not in default, and that the delay was occasioned by the complexity of the title and inherent difficulties of the case. The Land Judge at the same time urged upon them the necessity of expediting the proceedings as rapidly as possible.
