HC Deb 07 March 1904 vol 131 cc286-7
MR. DELANY (Queen's County, Ossory)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that a portion of the Gully River (Queen's County) was drained in 1902 at a cost of something like £1,400, and, in view of the fact that this outlay has been completely ineffective in consequence of the obstruction in the lower portion of the river, whether ho can state what steps it is proposed to take to complete this work.

(Answered by Mr. Wyndham.) The Drainage Board of the Lower Gully district having refused to repair their works, the Commissioners of Public Works have instructed their engineer to arrange for the execution of the necessary repairs.
