I beg to ask the Secretary to the Admiralty if he will state the strength of our naval forces in the Far East.

The strength of the Fleet in the Far East at present is:—five battleships; four first-class cruisers; four second-class cruisers; one third-class cruiser; eight sloops and gunboats; nine destroyers; twelve river gunboats and special service ships; four torpedo boats.
