HC Deb 03 March 1904 vol 131 c71
MR. J. P. FARRELL

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he will state the present position of the Annaly Estate with regard to its sale; whether the nine-teen tenants whose agreements to purchase I were signed but not sanctioned by the Land Commission will now have these agreements sanctioned by the Estates Commissioners; and whether, in the case of five evicted tenants on the estate, proposals for sale to them will now be considered.

MR. WYNDHAM

Negotiations with these nineteen tenants are not yet complete. The Receiver will meet them very shortly and will also endeavour to deal with the evicted tenants.
