COGHILL (Stoke-upon-Trent)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether he has had any report furnished to him as to the circumstances under which William Hill, of Fenton, a private in the 4th battalion North Staffordshire Militia, was shot at Lichfield last week; and what step he proposes to take to prevent similar accidents occurring in the future, by keeping ball cartridges separate from the dummies supplied for musketry drills.
