THOMAS O'DONNELL (Kerry, W.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord - Lieutenant of Ireland whether the Irish Land Commission is responsible for the upkeep of the banks on the estate of Sir R. Blennerhassett, Douglas, Killorglin, Kerry, purchased by the tenants in 1886; if not, who is responsible; whether he is aware that the tenants on the estate have suffered loss and inconvenience during the past twelve months from the inflow of the tide; and whether steps will at once be taken to have the tenants' property protected.
§ MR. WYNDHAMThe Commissioners recently directed an inspector to visit the embankment in question. The inspector's report was received yesterday, and will be considered by the Commissioners.
