HC Deb 27 June 1904 vol 136 c1258
MR. O'DOWD

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the sale of that portion of the King-Harman Estate, situate at Ballymote, county Sligo, has been sanctioned; whether a large farm on this estate, which the small tenants and labourers of the locality have been using as an accommodation farm for a number of years, has been sold to a stranger named Nuttall; and, if so, whether inquiries will be made by the Land Commission into the circumstances of this transaction.

MR. WYNDHAM

The sale has not yet been sanctioned. The inspectors are on the estate inspecting it; they will report on the circumstances of this and all other holdings.
