MR. GILHOOLY

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he will state the number of applications that have been received from -evicted tenants on the White Estate, county Cork, by the Estates Commissioners, and whether their cases will be dealt with before the agreements are signed by the tenants in occupation; and what provision is to be made for these evicted tenants.

(Answered by Mr. Wyndham.) Ten such applications have been received in respect of the estate of R. H. White, and one application in respect to the estate of Elizabeth White. These applications will be duly considered by the Commissioners before sanctioning advances.
