HC Deb 23 June 1904 vol 136 c992
MR. JOHN O'DONNELL (Mayo, S.)

I beg to ask the Postmaster-General whether he is aware that for a number of years telegrams have been delivered free at Irishtown, county Mayo, as it is well within the three mile limit, and that recently a charge of one shilling each has been made for the delivery of telegrams in that place; and, if so, will he say what is the reason for the charge and will it be discontinued.

LORD STANLEY

I have not heard, but I will inquire.
