HC Deb 23 June 1904 vol 136 cc999-1000
MR. JOHN O'DONNELL

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether it is his intention to introduce legislation by which future tenants in Ireland who now pay over 40 per cent, more rent than their neighbours may be enabled to go into the Land Courts, particularly on estates where the tenants have expressed their willingness to purchase and the landlords have refused to sell on reasonable terms.

MR. WYNDHAM

No, Sir, it is not my intention to introduce such legislation.
