HC Deb 21 June 1904 vol 136 c698
MR. J. P. FARRELL

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether, in the case of the sale of the White Estate in the townland of Culleenmore, North Longford, the Estate Commissioners propose to sanction an advance to one John Bodell, a planter tenant on that estate, and whether, in view of this man's stock and his financial position, an inspection will be directed before this sale is sanctioned.

THE CHIEF SECRETARY FOR IRELAND (Mr. WYNDHAM,) Dover

The application for an advance in this case does not bring it within the provisions of Section 1 (1) of the Act, and an inspection will accordingly be made.
