§ MR. SLOANI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether, in view of the balance lying to the credit of the Constabulary Force Fund (Reward Branch), and of the fact that this fund is made up of tines from members of the force, he will consider the advisability of restoring the 4 per cent, allowance which, owing to insolvency, was reduced to 2 per cent.
§ MR. WYNDHAMThe income of the fund is mainly derived from portions of fines awarded to the police in prosecutions. The question of increasing the payments out of the fund will be considered.
