HC Deb 21 June 1904 vol 136 cc705-6
MR. CROOKS (Woolwich)

In consequence of what he deemed to be an unsatisfactory answer given to him by the Secretary of State for War, asked leave to make a Motion for the adjournment of the House on a definite matter of urgent public importance—the unsatisfactory distribution of Government work to the detriment of the national workshops and of workpeople.

* MR. SPEAKER

ruled that this was not a "definite matter of urgent public importance." It was open to the hon. Member to raise it in Committee of Supply.
