HC Deb 20 June 1904 vol 136 cc483-4
MR. RANDLES (Cumberland, Cockermouth)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for India whether the Report on Railways by Mr. Robertson has been considered; and, if so, what steps are being taken to carry out the policy recommended in the Report both as to development and improved facilities on existing railways.

MR. BRODRICK

The Report on Railways by Mr. Robertson is still under consideration. I am unable to say at present to what extent Mr. Robertson's recommendations will be acted upon.

MR. RANDLES

Does the right hon. Gentleman remember that a very similar Answer was given about twelve months ago?

MR. BRODRICK

The question is a very complicated one, and necessitates. I much consideration.
