I beg to ask the Secretary to the Admiralty if any and, if so, what work is being done at present in the Belfast shipyards for the Admiralty.

The work which is at present being done for the Admiralty in the Belfast shipyards is the construction of machinery for H.M.S. "Hibernia," and the building of the coastguard cruiser "Squirrel." The building of the Admiralty yacht "Enchantress" and the construction of machinery for H.M.S. "King Edward VII." are also in hand, but are practically completed.
