HC Deb 14 June 1904 vol 136 c15
٭ MR. MCCRAE (Edinburgh, E.)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether he now proposes to proceed with the establishment of a Volunteer Army Service Corps, as recommended in the War Office Committee's Report of 31st January, 1903, and by the Royal Commission on the Militia and Volunteers.

THE SECRETARY or STATE FOR WAR (Mr. ARNOLD-FORSTEE,) Belfast, W.

The detailed recommendations of the Militia and Volunteer Commission are now receiving careful consideration. I am not, therefore, prepared at the present moment to give a reply to this Question.
