To ask the hon. Member for Chorley, as representing the First Commissioner of Works, how many men are now regularly employed in the building of the Victoria and Albert Museum.

(Answered by Lord Balcarres.) The number of men now regularly employed on the work is 550, of whom 320 are on the building and 230 are preparing the stonework at the masons' yard.
