HC Deb 08 June 1904 vol 135 c1076
MR. LONSDALE

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he can now state-whether it is his intention to proceed with the Labourers (Ireland) Bill; and, if so, can he fix the date for the Second Reading.

MR. ATKINSON

Yes, sir. My right hon. friend intends to proceed with the Bill. But he cannot name a date for the Second Reading, which is a matter rather for the Prime Minister.
