To ask the Secretary for Scotland, with reference to the Report of the Departmental Committee on Poor Law Medical Relief, whether the Local Government Board have yet considered the question of the discipline and punishment of inmates of Scottish poorhouses; and, if so, to state what steps they intend to take in the matter.

Also to ask the Secretary for Scotland, with reference to the Report of the Departmental Committee on Poor Law Medical Relief, whether the Local Government Board have yet considered if any, and what, poorhouses should be amalgamated with others on the ground that they contain few inmates; and, if so, to state what action they intend to take in regard thereto.
