§ MR. EUGENE WASONI beg to ask the Postmaster-General whether, having regard to the convenience to the public in being able to buy a book of twenty-four penny stamps for 2s. 0½d.,he could give 798 instructions that books of forty-eight halfpenny stamps could be supplied at the same price.
LORD STANLEYI doubt whether there would be much public demand for books of forty-eight halfpenny stamps, but am considering a proposal to issue books of penny and halfpenny stamps combined.
