§ *SIR EDWARD STRACHEY (Somersetshire, S.) moved that the Order for the Second Reading of this Bill be discharged and the Bill withdrawn. He said he did so in order to facilitate the passage of another measure, copied from his own, which had been introduced by the hon. Member for South Derbyshire on the other side of the House, and he would appeal to his 772 hon. friends on his side of the House not to oppose the other Bill.
